<image:title>About - Manuel Ojeda</image:title>
<image:caption>Manuel Ojeda is an accomplished Cuban immigrant who settled in the United States in 1983 after years of oppression and persecution. A loving father, grandfather, friend and colleague, he is retired from the health care field and a dedicated member of his community. The author’s personal account reflects great personal sacrifice & triumph in a collection of intimate stories written in Spanish & translated to English, giving freedom voice in the quest to reinvent himself in a new life, and in a new language in order to share the untold story with family and friends. Manuel now lives in his home in Florida, surrounded by the fruits of his labors, growing food for himself and his family on a little piece of land. Once a child on a sugar cane plantation, he now enjoys the simple pleasures of working for himself, with his hands, and producing homegrown fruits and vegetables. Among this beauty, The Right to Freedom has also taken root, first with pen and many legal pads, and now as this book you find in your hands. We hope you find something true of the author, our father, within its pages.</image:caption>

<image:title>HOME (Copy) - MANUEL OJEDA "The Right to Freedom" is a book written by a man who grew up in Fidel Castro's Cuba. It is told in his own style. Meant to be biographical, not political, this book tells a true story of grit, determination in the face of adversity and how far faith in God can take a person. It's moral is that faith and tenacity are extremely powerful.” -S. Bowers “Loved this book so much. Very enlightening and interesting all of the author's life events. I couldn’t put the book down, I couldn’t believe everything the author went through. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read autobiographies, real events by real people.” - J. Cervantes “El derecho a la libertad. Maravilloso libro. -P. O.</image:title>
